INSTRUCTIONS & GROWING TIPS

Sow groups of 6-8 seeds, outdoors in full, sun 1-2 weeks after the average last frost date. Soil should be nutrient rich, warm (above 65° F), and moist, but well drained. When 2-3 leaves are apparent on each plant, thin to 2-3 plants per group. Water heavily and frequently; but to prevent disease, avoid getting leaves wet. Feed every 3-4 weeks. Plants will grow 12-24 inches tall and bushy. When harvesting cut, or clip, the fruit including some of the stem to preserve freshness.

For the best flavor and to encourage continued fruiting, harvest early and often, while the skins and seeds are tender.

Enjoy the blooms too! Zucchini's bright yellow blooms are edible and they look lovely on a plate or as part of a centerpiece.
