Prepare & Measure: Determine how much of The Old Farmer's Almanac Tomato & Vegetable Plant Food you need using the Application Guide Below.
Spread Evenly & Mix In: Spread Plant Food evenly, and mix it gently into the soil, ensuring you do not damage existing plants. Do not allow fertilizer to gather in piles on the ground, or sit on leaves or flowers.
Wet After Application: To activate Plant Food, water plants after application until the soil is moist, but not over-saturated.
Apply Regularly: For best results apply The Old Farmer's Almanac Plant Food every 6-8 weeks throughout the growing Season.
APPLICATION GUIDE:
For Potted Plants: At the beginning of the growing season, or when first planting, mix 1.5 Tablespoons of plant food gently into the soil for every 12 Inches of pot diameter. For best results, feed every 6-8 weeks.
Planting Beds: When planting, spread 2/3 Cups of plant food evenly per 25 Square Feed of excavated soil; and mix in to a depth of 5-8 Inches. For best results, feed every 6-8 weeks gently mixing plant food into topsoil.
Trees & Shrubs: For new plants, mix 1/4 Cup of fertilizer into every 6 Square Feet of branch spread ensuring the fertilizer is spread under, and slightly beyond, the branch span. Repeat every 6-8 weeks throughout the growing season.
For Best Results, Mix Plant Food Thoroughly into the Top Few Inches of Soil.
Don't Feed Weeds! Weeds will Compete with Plants for Nutrients and Moisture, so pull all weeds prior to Fertilizing.
